Mehrheitlich wurde berichtet, dass sich das Bluetooth Modul von Chigee aufgehängt hat. War bei mir jedoch noch nicht der Fall. Ich denke das die geschaltete 12Volt Speisung dies verhindert. Abgesehen davon, dass konstant via OBD das Modul unter Dauerlast steht und zusätzlich Saft der Batterie zieht.

Kann ich leider nicht bestätigen. Habe mein Modul auch in die T-Box Stecker Leitung geschlauft, hängt sich ebenfalls auf.

Schade. Ich würde in diesem Fall mal Chigee anschreiben und ein Ersatz anfordern. Ich war positiv überrascht wie schnell der Support reagiert. Hatte diese mal angeschrieben Betreff Anpassungen der Software. Mich stört halt die eingeblendete Reifen-Überwachung und möchte diese per Konfiguration ausblenden können. Antwort kam 1 Tag danach mit der Aussage dass sie dies möglicherweise in den kommenden Updates berücksichtigen könnten . . .

Würde mich überraschen das diese Option umgesetzt wird.

If you notice that OBD data freezes or stops updating on your CHIGEE Display, it may be due to limitations in your motorcycle’s OBD protocol, not a fault with the device itself.

Designed for Short-Term Diagnostics
Some motorcycle brands and models use OBD interfaces that are intended only for short-term diagnostic use, not for continuous real-time data transmission.
For example, BMW motorcycles can initially transmit data via the OBD port, but the connection is not stable over extended periods. This is by design and not a technical malfunction.

Observable Symptoms
OBD data (such as RPM, speed, or temperature) freezes or lags after a while of riding
The display may stop updating dynamic information
Phone mirroring still working
This typically happens because the OBD protocol does not support continuous data streaming. Most real-time data points are time-limited or restricted by the ECU.

What You Can Do
Unfortunately, CHIGEE cannot override manufacturer-imposed limitations on OBD data output.
We recommend contacting your motorcycle’s manufacturer to confirm whether continuous OBD data transmission is supported for your specific model.

Das komische ist, daß es nicht immer vorkommt. Wird wahrscheinlich wieder ein Thema von 24 Modell sein.

Hi Björn,

Kann ich auch bestätigen, dass das OBD Modul nach einiger Betriebszeit einfriert. Erhoffe mir, von der Verschaltung über Klemme 15 (12v Zündung), eine wenigere große Fehleranfälligkeit.

Alternativ kann man das Modul im Fehlerfall während der Fahrt aus der Chigee Verbindung löschen und wieder koppeln.
